Stainless Steel ER 347 Filler Wire Features

Stainless Steel ER 347H Tig Wire Corrosion Resistance
The ER 347H Tig wire is an Nb-stabilized austenitic stainless steel wire that offers excellent creep strength, pitting and crevice corrosion resistance, and high-temperature strength. It also has superior corrosion resistance compared to Grade 304L or 316L stainless steel. This wire suits high-temperature applications like oil and gas refineries, aircraft and jet engine manufacturing, and chemical processing plants.
Stainless Steel ER 347 Mig Wire Chemical Composition
The ER 347 mig wire is a premium quality stainless steel wire that boasts high mechanical strength. Stainless Steel ER 347H Filler Wire Heat Treatment
The ER 347H Filler Wire is a type of austenitic stainless steel wire stabilized with niobium. Heat treatment of the wire is essential for minimizing weld cracking susceptibility. Preheating to 300 – 600°F and post-weld heat treatment at 1450 – 1850°F for 30 minutes per inch of thickness can enhance the wire's strength and durability.
