The ER 347H Filler Wire is a type of austenitic stainless steel wire stabilized with niobium. Heat treatment of the wire is essential for minimizing weld cracking susceptibility. Preheating to 300 – 600°F and post-weld heat treatment at 1450 – 1850°F for 30 minutes per inch of thickness can enhance the wire's strength and durability.
