Nickel 200 Wires Features
Nickel 200 wires are high-purity, commercially pure wrought nickel, boasting exceptional mechanical properties and resisting many corrosive environments. It is a tough and ductile metal that can withstand a wide range of high and low temperatures. Its properties make it suitable for various applications, including pickling tanks, chemical processing, and food processing equipment.

Nickel 201 Wires Corrosion Resistance
Nickel 201 wires, on the other hand, have better corrosion resistance than Nickel 200 wires due to their low carbon content. These wires exhibit excellent resistance to corrosive environments, including acidic and alkaline ones.
Nickel 201 wires are also used in cryogenic applications due to their low magnetic permeability, making them suitable for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines.
Nickel 200 Chemical Composition
Nickel 200 wires consist of 99.6% pure nickel, which makes them resistant to a wide range of corrosive environments. The remaining 0.4% comprises iron, copper, and other metals. The presence of copper improves the resistance to sulfuric acid, while the addition of iron increases the strength of the wires.
Nickel 201 Wires Machining
Nickel 201 wires are easy to machine and form due to their low carbon content. These wires can be welded using various techniques, including gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). Nickel 201 wires are easily annealed, which helps in reducing their hardness and improving their flexibility.
