Stainless steel ER308L wires belong to the austenitic metal family and are mainly used for welding low-carbon, non-magnetic stainless steel materials, including 18/8 stainless steels, such as AISI 304, 304L, and 308L. These wires contain a low carbon content, making them ideal for welding materials that require minimal carbon levels to prevent carbide precipitation. They also contain additional elements, such as Molybdenum, which improves their resistance to pitting corrosion.

Stainless steel ER308L wires are widely used in oil and gas, automotive, chemical, power generation, and food processing. ER308L wires are commonly used in welding 18/8 and 19/9 stainless steel components such as tanks, piping, heat exchangers, and other pressure vessels.
