Stainless Steel 316L Wires' Corrosion Resistance
Stainless Steel 316L wires have excellent corrosion resistance properties. They are resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, chloride attack, and intergranular corrosion, making them ideal for use in harsh environments where the material is exposed to corrosive agents. 316L Stainless Steel wires are often used in marine and coastal environments, where they are exposed to saltwater spray.
Stainless Steel 316H Wires Chemical Composition
Stainless Steel 316H wires have a higher carbon content than 316 and 316L, making them more heat resistant. The carbon content of 316H wires is between 0.04% to 0.1%, which increases the material's strength and hardness. Stainless Steel 316H wires are often used in high-temperature environments like petrochemical refineries, where the material is exposed to extreme heat and corrosive agents.
