Nickel Alloy Inconel 825 Tubes Corrosion Resistance
Inconel 825 Tubes are made with a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with excellent resistance to multiple forms of corrosion. The tubes possess outstanding corrosion resistance to reducing and oxidizing acids, stress corrosion cracking, and intergranular corrosion. That makes them ideal for use in severe environments such as chemical processing plants, oil refineries, and marine engineering. Inconel 825 tubes are often used as down-hole tubular in oil and gas production as they resist sulfide stress cracking and chloride-induced stress corrosion.
Nickel Alloy Inconel 800 Pipes Chemical Composition
Inconel 800 Pipes are made with a nickel-chromium alloy comprising 30-35% nickel, 15-20% chromium, and 5% iron. The alloy also contains small amounts of carbon, aluminium, titanium, and manganese. However, including these small amounts of metals enhances the properties of the pipes and gives them remarkable resistance to high-temperature oxidation, nitriding, and carburization.
