Features of Inconel 718 Wires

They have a high yield strength of up to 120 ksi and a tensile strength of up to 180 ksi. Still, they typically have a minimum nickel content of 50%, a maximum chromium content of 21%, and a maximum iron content of 18.5%. Adding niobium and molybdenum provides Inconel 718 wires with increased strength and toughness.

Inconel 718 wires have excellent physical and mechanical properties. They have a density of 8.2 g/cm3 and a melting point of 1336°C (2437°F). Inconel 718 wires exhibit excellent tensile and yield strengths, with a typical ultimate tensile strength of 180 ksi and a typical yield strength of 120 ksi.
