Aluminium Round Bar is a solid cylindrical bar produced from wrought aluminium alloys through extrusion, rolling and drawing, then finished to size for machining, fabrication and structural use. The bar carries a natural oxide layer that resists corrosion in marine and chemical environments without extra coating. Density sits at 2.70 g/cm3, close to a third the weight of an equivalent steel section, and good machinability suits high-volume turning and milling. The non-magnetic structure also works well in instrumentation housings and electronic enclosures.

Elongation falls between 8% and 12% for T6 tempers, and Brinell hardness sits between 95 HB and 150 HB. The melting range runs from 580°C to 650°C. Electrical conductivity reaches up to 37% IACS, which suits busbar and conductor work where weight savings matter alongside current-carrying capacity.
Iron content stays below 0.7% across the alloys we stock, which limits brittleness during cold forming and keeps machined edges clean. Each bar takes to TIG and MIG welding with filler wire matched to the base composition, and the oxide layer removes the need for plating in most outdoor applications.
